I really think that this photo has great potential. I love it but I feel that you need to do something to separate the ivy from the brick wall. At the moment the image looks muddy. I'd start by adjusting the levels, then an overlay layer to bring tthe ivy forward and finally an unsharp mask. But that's just my humble opinion....

BTW, I loove your photo on you "about dross" page.
